Artūras is a free, almost wild teenager. He spends his days alone, wandering the countryside and beaches of his native island of Procida, tucked away in the Bay of Naples, only to return home starving. Arthur's worldview is shaped by the books he reads voraciously, so not only his mother, who died giving birth to him, but also his father, who appears and leaves again without any warning, are for him mythical beings, without flaws and unconditionally worshiped. When one day his father brings home a bride not much older than Arthur, his quiet and idyllic existence comes to an end. Suddenly confronted with reality, Arthur begins to feel jealousy, and eventually love - feelings he doesn't understand anything about.Arturo's mother is dead and father away. When his father returns with a new wife, all Arturo feels is hatred. But, as time passes, his feelings for her change dramatically.
