Claire, a commercial artist, is young, single and independent. Her life changes when she receives a letter from a solicitor telling her she has been left a substantial legacy by an uncle she didn’t know she had. After meeting with the solicitor, she discovers her uncle was murdered. At the funeral, she meets colleagues of her uncle who tell her that like her uncle, they work for the Government. One of them tells her he intends going to Bulgaria to break up the people-smuggling gang responsible for his death. She follows him there and between them they set up a trap, the gang are arrested, and they reunite a brother and sister.
