Biography/History:
Melissa McShane is the author of EMISSARY and THE SMOKE-SCENTED GIRL as well as the novels of Tremontane, SERVANT OF THE CROWN and RIDER OF THE CROWN. She lives in Utah with her husband, four children, and three very needy cats. She wrote reviews and critical essays for many years before turning to fiction, which is much more fun than anyone ought to be allowed to have. She is currently working on the next Tremontane book, AGENT OF THE CROWN.
