Six-part ITV crime drama starring Laura Fraser, Siobhan Finneran and Don Gilet. The show follows DS Annie Redford (Fraser) as she investigates the suspicious death of local piano teacher Niall Swift, her first murder case. Her investigation begins when his body is found at the bottom of a cliff in the village of Lochnafoy, situated on the banks of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. When it is discovered part of the victim's brain was removed post-mortem, and a human heart is discovered near the crime scene, it becomes apparent Annie is looking for a suspected serial killer and her superiors bring in DCI Lauren Quigley (Finneran) and forensic psychologist Blake Albrighton (Gilet) to aid her search. Can they catch the killer before he strikes Lochnafoy once again?
