Kent Libraries and Archives have a huge range of World War 1 resources. With the help of customers and descendants of WWI vetereans this Great War legacy was develped for the benefit of a new generation. The project was supported through the 'Their past your future 2 programme' ( the second phase of a project from 2007-2009 led by a partnership of the Imperial War Museumand the Museums, Libraries, Archives Partnership, supported by the Big Lottery Fund). TPYF2 encourages exploration of the impact and ongoing legacy of 20th Century conflict on people and places in the UK and around the world. The Imperial War Museum is responsible for the delivery of a programme of UK-wide educational activities and resources, while partners in the home countries of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales will focus on the impact of conflict in their own specific regions.
